Bocianska dolina

WHERE TO GO FOR A WALK?

Bocianska dolina

Together with the nearby villages of Nižná Boca and Malužiná, Vyšná Boca is part of the 16-kilometer long Bocianská valley, which is the border of the Ďumbiersky and Kráľovohoľske Tatras in the Low Tatras. The valley runs from the saddle of Čertovica to the village of Kráľova Lehota in the Liptovská basin, and the Čertovica stream and the Boca river, also called Bocianka, flow through it.

During a walk through Bocianská dolina, you can enjoy not only the nature of the Low Tatras, but also numerous wooden haylofts and folk architecture, which gives the valley its characteristic appearance.
