Ďumbier
The highest peak of the Low Tatras is a very sought-after tourist destination, which can be accessed from, for example, nearby Čertovica, from where you follow the SNP heroes’ road marked in red. The route passes through Kumštove sedlo and Králička, next to the MR Štefánika Cottage, up to Ďumbier, 2,043 meters high.
From the top, it then descends through Králička to Bocské sedlo, from where it continues through Starobocká dolina to Vyšná Boca. A similar tour takes approximately 8 hours. it is associated with a significant elevation gain and can thus be recommended to more experienced and physically fit tourists.
